Last night I just needed to relax. My favorite clients' offer wasn't accepted - seller received 10 offers.
I wasn't in the mood for my usual favorite action/disaster movie genre. Scrolling through Netflix suggestions for me, I was in the 'Feel Good Movie' row and saw 'Avalon High', a Disney High School movie of the drama/ family/ fantasy type. Maybe this was just what I needed.
Allie and her parents, who are medieval literature scholars (think Knights-of-the-Round-Table) move to a new town where she will attend her new school, Avalon High. Allie becomes close to Will, the senior class president and star football quarterback. She soon realizes something seems a little different about Avalon High, where all her new friends seem to have something in common with the legend of King Arthur.
There is one scene where Allie is giving Will a pep talk about the next game:
Remember what Victory felt like.
That feeling when you led your Team to Glory.
If you can Live in that Moment and Want it Again with All your Heart
Nothing can Stop You
Passion is key to success in anything you do. If you're not passionate about real estate, think back to a time when you were. Immerse yourself in what you love about real estate, and you will get your passion back!
...... Who knew I would find so much inspiration in a Disney high school movie! BTW, I give Avalon High 5 Stars.
