My Life as a San Francisco Realtor: One Home's Journey.....Renovation and Staging

One Home's Journey.....Renovation and Staging

I listed a home in Oakland's Maxwell Park on Feb. 28, 2011. It was under contract in 6 days and closed on April 1st. And it sold at the high end of the market. Two reasons:

1. Debra and Jeff of Community Real Estate Investments did an excellent job of renovating, all the way from foundation repairs, new roof, new kitchen and bath, and much more.

2. One Two Six Design did a fantastic staging job. My hat's off to them.

I've been meaning to post some before and after photos for some time. Enjoy!

One Two Six Design did a great job staging this home, I'm not surprised it went under contract in six days John...............obviously you priced it right too.

Julia and Rose, We all felt like Cinderella. All ready to go to the Ball, and the Ball was cancelled. Prince Charming rode in with a perfect offer before the first Open!

John, I really think they did a great job staging it too. Did they totally renovate the kitchen??

Connie, Community REI (the sellers) did some foundation work, new roof, some new windows, refinished floors, new kitchen from studs out, updated bath and more.... They also hired One Two Six Design for the Staging. It was all a great partnership.

Looks like a lot of people did a lot of good work, and that’s what it requires, everyone working together.

Laura and Jim, It doesn't always work this way, but on this project it did. The seller, the buyer, the buyer's agent, the stager, the contractor - everyone was really a pleasure to work with!
