My Life as a San Francisco Realtor: Bay Area Property Owners Look at Ways to Protect Views

Bay Area Property Owners Look at Ways to Protect Views

A few months ago I wrote a blog post title Active Rain Put Me on TV! Allen Martin, a reporter and Anchor for our local CBS station KPIX5 had found me on Active Rain and wanted to hear my views on Air Rights. He couldn't have been a nicer guy, and he made me feel very comfortable.

Almost two months later he sent me an email saying the segment would air that evening on the 6pm News. Luckily KPIX also posts segments to their web site, so I've now seen it many times! Shared it on Facebook, via email and now here in the Rain.

There are a few screen shots below - yup, with my name right there on the screen. And I also have a link if you want to watch the segment, right HERE! and to think this all started with Active Rain.

John,

Once again, ActiveRain is helped another member into the spotlight.

Congratulations on your success!

Thanks for sharing about view easements. I guess we can all learn something new every day.

Hi Sarah and Lester, this all started a few years ago after I saw the movie Burlesque. First time I ever thought about Air Rights. A number of blog posts later and I'm on TV.

Congratulations, John. KGO radio has called me because of blog post I wrote about properties in Pacifica. I didn't have the segment on their web site, but one client wrote to say how interesting it was to hear me.
